April 15–17, 2010 in the «KrasnodarEXPO» exhibition centre will be held 13 th special international exhibition of winegrowing and winemaking, beverages, technologies, raw materials and enological equipment WINES & BEVERAGES. INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA RUSSIA.

After becoming the major sectional event of winegrowing and winemaking industry, exhibition WINES & BEVERAGES. INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA RUSSIA, demonstrates the best examples of national winemaking; the most famous products and technologies of the world’s leading manufacturers. The exhibition to the full confirms status of one of the most important specialized platform for complex presentation of Russian’s winegrowing and winemaking company’s progress, professional community’ s collaboration.It is no coincidence that exhibition is held in the capital of Kuban. Krasnodar Region is the major manufacturer of grape and wine production in Russia. Winegrowing in Kuban it is not only traditional craft, but one of the mostly priority-oriented fields of region economics — Krasnodar Region’s ratio in Russia’s gross collection goes to 60%.

This year more than 200 companies from Krasnodar and Stavropol Regions, Republics Adygea, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Chechnia Republic, Moscow and Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, and also companies from 13 foreign countries: France, England, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Moldova, Poland, Serbia and Ukraine will become participants of exhibition project. The exhibition will be placed at the area of 3 500 sq m net and divided into 3 sections: «Winegrowing and Gardening», «Wines and beverages», «Intervitis Interfructa Russia» — section of technologies and enological equipment.

During the exhibition will be presented unique exposition of agricultural techniques for winegrowing: grape-harvesting combines, a tractor for processing of a row-spacing, the device for mechanical weeding of a rod, the car for grapevine landing, cultivators.

Traditionally on the exhibition will be presented French collective exposition that consists of more than 20 companies and organized by The Association developing international relations between French and foreign companies UBIFRANCE, collaborating with Mission on Economic Affairs of Embassy of France in Moscow. Attention will be also paid to the technologies of manufacturing in the area of winemaking and wine growing. This exposition points once more, that France attaches importance to development of relations with Russia in the sphere of agriculture and supports French companies operating in Russia and their activity.

Forum of business meetings between the leaders of Russian and French companies «CROSSROADS FRANCE KUBAN 2009» that was held in the year of 2009 became an important feature of the business program.

Main aims of the Forum: to initiate the leaders of the winemaking enterprises of Russia with technologies of winemaking and winegrowing of France; to propose available solutions for joint projects in the context of the global economical crisis; to offer law and administrative consultations; to inform about possibilities of practical internship in France.

Also during the exhibition will be held 4 th International Scientific Conference of viticulture and winemaking.

Organizers — NPO (non-profitable organization) «Union of winegrowers and winemakers of Russia» and exhibition centre «KrasnodarEXPO».

The main event of the exhibition will be an international competition of wines and beverages «South Russia-2010. In 2009, Russian wine will be evaluated by experts from 10 countries. The unicity of tasting competition is in its new format.It is a first time that „SOUTHTERN RUSSIA“ has an open character, where each winemaker as member of tasting commission has an opportunity to evaluate the most outstanding samples according to the results of professional tasting.
